On/off switch connection ...

Before i go for final connection of the electrics, appreciate if someone could clarify something for me ..... in the connection chart i see what looks like a duplication of the circuit connecting the on/off switch ... to the left in the chart, we see a blue + a brown wire, connected through the on/off switch ... where it says: Remove existing socket block etc ... then we have the connection to the sensor board where it says: Intersect brown wire. Connect on/off switch ... Which do I follow???

I have the same issue…someone has the answer?
