Hi Jean
This project is currently in the queue. I purchased all the gears, belts and powerful dc motor to build a testing rig and evaluate force/cogging ratio when applying 5kg pressure on 50cm long stick.
However, there are some other projects with higher priority right now (Yoke v2, AFS2 addon plane, AFS2 Force plugin).
Also to make the stick work with the sim, we need an OS-CL, which turned out to be enormous challenge though.
Not many people have the time to volunteer for this kind of job Neutral

Hi Jay,

Thanks for your answer,
I like too aerofly for its quick loading and its good framerate and with the aeroscenery its simple to create VFR sceneries.
But It didn't support directx ffb ?
Did you need still help on aerofly plugins ? I have some knowledge in software development but I didn't look at the aerofly sdk yet.

Did you already post the BOM of you're yoke V2 somewhere ?

Regards,

JP

Hi
AFS doesn't support ffb out of the box. It is a vital feature for our yoke therefore I was shouting out to find somebody capable to write the plugin.
One guy has responded to this and he's currently doing research into the subject so hopefully we'll see some results eventually:)
With that said, feel free to give it a shot if you got the "tools".
I can provide more info if you like.

What do did you mean by BOM?

Hi,
Thanks,
Is it a git or svn repository for that FFB Addons development somewhere ?
BOM = Build Of Materials, the list of all part and address or link of each of then to be able to build the same ;-)

We don't have any public place for the ffb plugin but I'll create dedicated thread in this forum and post what I gathered so far.

As for the BOM,
with all my hardware projects, I tend to finish first working prototype before publishing any documents as the list is often changing throughout the development process.
For example v1 yoke started it's live as absolutely different design and changed three more times before it became what it is now.
