Force Feedback Comparison
Sun Dec 13, 2020 8:04 pm
Before I start with this project, I am curious about the force capabilities of the motors, in comparison to the actual aircraft.
I have to assume that this is a significantly lower force than the actual force loading on the aircraft, but as this assumption can be wrong and before I decide to modify the sidewinder controls to compact servos/servo drives, I would like to get some comments on an "estimate" from anyone who has experience with both.
This is an awesome project and expect it to be pretty cool regardless of the direction.
Thanks

The forces applied by the modified sidewinder with stock motors is less than a real aircraft (cessna 172 etc). There are some threads on upgrading the motors. It is a cool project.
