25MM OD Does not fit SBPFT205 or SLFT25 25MM 3 Bolt Bearing & Housing

Just got all my parts together. The 3d printed stuff looks pretty good.However a 25mm od tube does not fit into the bearings.
The ID on the bearing is about 24.8mm. And it sure is not going to do any sliding with a 25 mm od tube.
The tube of course will not even fit snuggly. Maybe thats why they call it a 25mm press fit bearing....
So where did you get your 25mm tube??

Something must be wrong here.
There are quite a few of these yokes already build and nobody has reported any issues regarding this.
I believe that the term "pressed" is referring to the steel triangle. The bearing itself is designed with extra collar, fitted with two grub screws to hold the shaft in place with, not a friction.
Please measure the inner diameter of the bearing again. If it's not 25mm, I would recommend returning the item and order elsewhere.
The picture below was taken from random eBay listing. You see that the first figure clearly specifies the 25mm ID.

Yes I eventually figured out the reference to pressed referred to the triangle plates lol
I tried to hone out the bearings I.D. but no luck. That metal is very hard....
I did order some 1" I.D. bearing from another company.
I hope they will work even though they are oversized.
The grub screws locks the 25mm tube down ..  Correct??
I am kind of between a rock and a hard place since the tube is ever so slightly oversized and a tiny bit out of round.
And the bearing is Undersized....
So I might have to put tape or other shim on the tube to keep it centered in the oversized bearing.
The new bearings are on their way..

That's correct, the grub screws lock 25mm tube down.

believe me ... a real round 25mm tube will enter in the bearings !
I had the very same problem .... but industrial cutted tubes usually don't have right diameters when
the cut is made.
I took the tube to a mech shop and had it rounded with a lathe.

You should solve it easily.

I ended up ordering some 1" id bearings and there was plenty of clearance...
That will also fix the problem.
Eventually I managed to use a pink colored grinding stone in a Dremel tool and opened up both 25mm bearings to allow the tube to slip in.
No doubt taking a lathe to the tube is a proper fix too...

Had this problem as well. The 25mm tube I ordered was 25.2mm and the bearings were 25mm exact. Turns out that not all SBPFT205 bearings are equal and the solution was to get a pair with an inch diameter bore (SBPFT205-16)
